We're looking for candidates who can handle residential remodeling work — not just show up and swing a hammer.

You need to be comfortable working in multiple phases of a project. One day you may be demoing a bathroom. Another day you could be framing a deck, installing trim, setting doors, handling punch work, or taking care of smaller handyman-type tasks. The work changes, and I expect you to keep up.

Position Overview:
The Skilled Residential Renovation Specialist will perform hands-on work in various aspects of residential construction and remodeling. Ideal candidates will have a broad skill set, including demolition, carpentry, painting, flooring, tile, and finish work. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented professionals who take pride in their craft.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform skilled labor on renovation projects, including but not limited to demolition, framing, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and finishing.
• Collaborate with project managers team members to ensure high-quality and timely completion of work.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
• Use tools and equipment properly and safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues as needed.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in residential renovation (demolition, carpentry, painting, flooring, etc.).

This deck is 20+ years old and the existing decking was in bad shape. The joints were gapped and rotted, some of the boards had broken and it was in need of repair. The joists were in good shape and after multiple measurements I discovered we could have all full length boards with no seams if we ran a picture frame trim along the house. LEGACY did it again! These 2 bathrooms were beautifully layed out by an interior designer who specializes in 3D renderings. So these bathrooms had to be exactly to the specs. of the renderings. When details matter give us a call or send us a message!

LEGACY Design & Build has completed phase 1 of this project! The existing safety hazard (aka. rotted deck) was removed and a brand new composite deck with roof was constructed. These great clients went with my suggestion to have 2 fans installed, you can never have to much airflow in the south. Phase 2 will be painting the pressure treated lumber, gutter, cable railing and screening it all in! Let us know if this is something you'd like on your home!
