Then the appointment ends in under 20 minutes. I was actually surprised last year when my P*P didn’t request labs until AFTER my visit.

No one is to blame. That is simply how conventional medicine and the healthcare system is built. Your doctor is skilled and well-meaning, but the system gives them very little time to dig deep because it doesn’t fit the cost model of healthcare systems where a routine office visit, that is coded as such, is compensated the same; whether your P*P spent 20 minutes or 45 minutes with you. And a complex chronic disease management visit is compensated the same whether they spend 30 minutes or an hour with you.

Everyone's talking about GLP-1s like Ozempic and Wegovy. Very few people are talking about what happens to your muscle while the weight is coming off.
