Creative Safe Spaces has been nominated for the Quickbooks & Mailchimp Small Business Hero Program. A $20,000 grant awarded to small businesses showing courage, integrity, and community impact.

We cannot nominate ourselves. Our community has to do it. And the deadline is May 15.

We are inside all the way in the back and I just wanna give you a little tour of our set up for today’s community event. We have absolutely amazing raffle basket for every participant. We also have items for sale great conversation and the Mom community out here. Whether you are bringing a mother to make a hug shirt for her , making a sugar scrub for your mom, getting a self-care kit for your auntie making it forever rose for grandma…we got it all out here till 6 PM. At 6 PM we will announce our raffle winner. Every ticket is an entry to the raffle. If you like and share the story before you get here or while you’re here you’ll get a double entry. How about that? Sugar Scrubs & 4ever Hugs is a curated Mother’s Day wellness experience curated by Creative Safe Spaces at The Market at 7th Street in Charlotte. This is not a brunch. This is not a spa day. This is an intentional, creative wellness experience designed to make the women in your life feel genuinely seen and celebrated.

Here is what I need people to understand about why this event exists.The free Open Air Creative Reset series that Creative Safe Spaces runs in the community does not sustain itself on grant funding alone. Paid signature events like this one are what make the free work possible.

Every ticket purchased on May 9 is a direct investment in community programming that asks nothing of the people who need it most. That is the model. That is the mission.
