As the school year wraps up, we want to share some amazing highlights from our STEAMLab program from the 2025-26 academic year!

We had over 1,249 students in K-8 enrolled and attending our STEAMLab program across 36 schools. Over 700 of those students returned to the programming after participating in previous years.

Retention rates exceeded over 80% series by series across the year, which is fantastic to see. We also saw 300 students attend 100% of the sessions this year, and close to 700 students attended 80% of sessions - wow! This speaks to the excitement students had for attending, and we love to see it.

We're so grateful to be able to do this work, and we're grateful to all of you for supporting it. Don't worry - this year might be wrapping up, but we are already planning bigger and better things next year!

Charlotte, get ready! CrownTown Challenge is back!

In our inaugural year, we saw nearly 150 participants from 13 Charlotte-area companies come together to build 1,000 STEAMKits, all delivered to local students through our partners at Classroom Central. Teams competed in our first-ever LEGO robotics challenge, with Team Honeywell taking home first place and Team SCOR finishing second. It was one for the books, and 2026 is going to be bigger.

Competition day is only a little over a month away on July 22, and we're full STEAM ahead on making it an incredible experience 😉

Will you join us in being part of it all? If you head to our website, you can learn more about the event, register your team, or check out sponsorship opportunities.

Showing up for Charlotte’s kids is worth celebrating, and we're ready to celebrate big on July 22. See you there?

We are thrilled to announce our SPARK Society!

At Digi-Bridge, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover, explore, and thrive in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). The SPARK Society is Digi-Bridge’s new multi-year giving community, designed for donors who want to make a sustained, meaningful investment in young learners, particularly students in Title I schools, who face systemic barriers to high-quality STEAM education.

By joining the SPARK Society, donors fuel hands-on learning experiences that build curiosity, confidence, and critical skills, while also becoming part of a committed community of champions who believe in long-term impact.

A few weeks ago we held our biggest robotics competition yet, and it was a blast!

A big shoutout to Ranson Middle School for hosting the competition and the many supporters who came to cheer on our students. All the participants had a blast, were challenged, tried and failed, and were celebrated big every step of the way. We are so proud of these kids, and cannot wait to see what next season brings!

We are still flying high from our Let’s Imagine More breakfast a few weeks ago 💙

That morning was one of joy: Joy in learning. Joy in friendship. Joy in access. Joy in belonging. Joy in believing what’s possible. All of the Digi-Bridge team felt the joy. We hope you did, too.

ICYMI: we announced a big goal that morning. Digi-Bridge aims to serve 5,000 students annually by 2028. We have 14 schools in Charlotte on our waiting list for our STEAMLab after school programming, so we know the need is there.

It’s a lofty goal, but that’s what we’re known for. And we feel renewed and excited after this morning of joy around the work we do. We’re getting to work to not only hit, but exceed this goal. And we’ll keep you posted on the way.

As always, you can support by heading to our website and learning more about donating or volunteering with Digi-Bridge. No act is too small to when it comes to accessible learning for Charlotte students! https://digi-bridge.org/

This week at our annual Imagine More Breakfast, we announced a bold goal: We want to serve 5,000 students in Charlotte annually by 2028.

We have 14 schools on our waitlist for STEAMLab programming, so we know the need is there. We know there are smart, resilient and excited students who want to deep dive into STEAM learning. Additionally, we're seeing kids age out of our current programming and wish they could continue on past middle school. These students are passionate, and we are doing everything we can to ensure all children in Charlotte have access to free, out of school learning opportunities.

But we need your help.

Donations allow us to keep all of our programming free for kids while also paying for supplies and the teachers who run our STEAMLabs. Donations allow us to reach more students in Charlotte. Donations allow us to bring more exciting opportunities to neighborhoods we haven't been able to reach before.

Every dollar counts, and we know that firsthand. If you are in a position to give financially, you can help us help students and teachers in our communities. And to us, that's everything 💙
