I wish I could create Art everyday
As the sun rises it shines my way
With the right idea, change can overcome fear
The spark that shifted the world’s gears
Was coincidentally the big bang
As I was walking snapping pictures of a plane
The lady behind me whispered it’s illegal
To her husband
I thought to myself I’m going to ship this picture to my cousin
That never saw skyscrapers
As the plane resembled the one’s we made out of papers
Sipping on juice made with grape flavor
Living life carefree as we exchanged favors
Caged birds sing, while the free birds fly
I want to make it to the sky
Before I up and die
Pictures of what’s inside
Make you feel the love they try to hide
I was r***d at five
And never once said f**k the world
Just like the Milky Way Swirl
Everything is as it should be
And that’s word to every religions almighty

All kings get their heads cut off, just as all revolutions compromise.

I told you happy birthday for the first time today…
You turned one which is such a young in age…
But in my mind I saw all of your older days…
From your first day of school to you crossing the stage…
As it is my job to…
Grateful to be alive to…
Show you love in its purest form…
Show you how to smile your way through every storm…
Every father daughter dance I’ll be there suited up…
So at your wedding our dance won’t be new to us…
We’ll have our own language with handshakes too…
I’ll teach you the world so you can practice in school…
Happy birthday baby girl and don’t grow up too fast…
Seeing you grow up makes me feel blessed to be your dad…

Approaching wedding season differently this year. After capturing over 200 weddings I have the experience to know what goes in to capturing an amazing wedding.

📸 Capturing the moments are of course what you get paid for BUT more importantly it’s up to you to recognize the moments. Some emotions happen for brief seconds.you blink and you’ll miss that one smile or tear falling down. This is where your intuition as a photographer is crucial.

💃🏽🕺🏾 I love the entire wedding day but the reception is by far my favorite part. It’s mainly due to everyone forgetting about the camera. This is the most authentic moments, there’s no posing and only love. Reception pictures with guest in my opinion beat formal pictures with guest every time.

⏱️ I’ve learned how to manage time effectively. I remember starting out yelling to the coordinator “I’ll only need about fifteen minutes” and that turning into 30 minutes. For brides these two tips will save you ONE HOUR of media time. (Already have your flat lay/detailed shot created. A flat lay is everything your wearing and dress with invitations. Secondly, keep the getting ready room as clean as possible.)
