The Snappers baseball team is a collection of athletes from Charlotte and surrounding communities. There are currently two Snappers teams; 28+ and 38+.
We formed towards a common cause for competition, comradery, and poise in their chosen sport and passion; BASEBALL ! The 38+ Masters team has been in the final championship playoff games five out of six years and won the championship in 2011. I formed the CABL in January 2002. My passion was based on providing a format for all ages to enjoy and compete in their chosen game of sport......BASEBALL !
Off to perform the Star-Spangled Banner tonight to kick off our CABL Classic division Championship game, which will be held at Plesant Knoll, Rock Hill. Game start is 7:30PM.
There will fireworks on and off the bases during the game since this is the best of the best from our division ! I'll be doing the announcing also for the players coming to the plate....and "just a little bit outside" commentary ! :)

As many of you know, baseball is in my heart. I've played it since 5 years of age, Little League in Taiwan, Legion ball in Concord, through college.
I formed a baseball league in Charlotte in 2002. It's a non-profit league with age divisions of 18, 28, 38, and 48 years of age. The league is called CABL, Charlotte Adult Baseball League.
If you can possibly help my baseball colleague, Anna Kimbrell, to support teaching baseball to girls in Uganda, you have my heart for doing so. Anna is a very strong baseball athlete who competes in our league and on a National level. Her skills are superior. Thank you, Anna, for all you do for the game.
Also, thank you for any contribution of baseball items and money that any of my friends and baseball colleagues can provide to support this effort. Mo Brines
