As I met my neighbors, fought cancer, dealt with drama, this zany trailer park was my backdrop!

Moreover, I love that Myrtle Beach continues to be the setting of my life. To live at the beach, to soak in all the beauty, is the life for me. ❀️

I like this fountain at Nance Plaza very much!
It is somewhat hypnotic and certainly refreshing to look at.

6/20/26:

Saturday, I decided to check out a couple of events that were happening in Myrtle Beach.
I went to Nance Plaza to see what was going on with the Pride Event. Everyone seemed to be in a good frame of mind, socializing, listening to music and looking at the things offered through the vendors and churches which had come to support the event. Grand Strand Brewery was packed and the live music only added to the loud fun and socializing that was taking place with the patrons within the venue.
In the park itself, there were many people who were milling around, talking and hanging out.
I stayed about an hour before heading over to Charlie's Place to see what was going on with the Juneteenth celebration.
I had to park a ways from Charlie's Place; there were a lot of people in attendance by the time I arrived. The event was celebratory, indeed. There were lots of vendors with wares and merchandise. The food smelled wonderful, drifting throughout the grounds from the vendors' tents.
I enjoyed the laughter, watching people mill around as they celebrated, socialized and checked out the offerings at Charlie's Place.
It was hot, extremely hot, and I had some difficulty dealing with that. But in spite of the extreme heat, I was glad I decided to swing by both Nance Plaza and Charlie's Place
to participate in these events with my Myrtle Beach community on Saturday. β€οΈπŸ˜„πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ₯³β˜ΊοΈ
