Why Type One Baseball Co.?
Because this moment is part of the game too.
The glove.
The uniform.
The competition.
And sometimes a quick check before getting back on the field.
What started as DoinitDesigns evolved into something more meaningful because Type 1 diabetes became part of our family’s baseball journey. Along the way, we realized there are so many other athletes and families navigating the same challenges.
Type One Baseball Co. was created to celebrate, support, and connect diabetic ballplayers and the families who cheer them on.
Because a blood sugar check doesn’t make someone any less of an athlete.
And because diabetes doesn’t bench ballplayers.

A lot has changed since this page started.
What began as DoinitDesigns was a creative outlet—a place to share designs and ideas. Over time, though, one story kept finding its way back to the center of everything: life as a Type 1 diabetic ballplayer.
As our family’s journey continued, it became clear this was about more than designs.
It was about the athletes checking blood sugars between innings.
The parents packing low snacks in every equipment bag.
The families navigating practices, tournaments, game days, and diabetes together.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce Type One Baseball Co.
A brand built to celebrate, support, and connect Type 1 diabetic ballplayers and the families who cheer them on.
This is more than a new name and logo. It’s a mission, a purpose, and a community.
