Had a great weekend at the Charlotte Auto Fair! We got to meet so many veterans, current service members, and had too many pictures to count with the showcar! Even though the weather was windy and cold, it was incredible at the amount of car enthusiasts and families who came out each day! Big thanks to my dad, MyComputerCareer.edu, and Team Johnson Motorsports for the good time and hard work this weekend!

The entries are piling in for the Easter Bunny 150, the PASS Late Model race, at Hickory Motor Speedway this weekend. The race is Saturday night at 6:00 with qualifying at 2:15, but race cars, drivers and crew will start working hard Friday at Noon during practice. A starting field of 26 cars will take the green and with over 40 cars entered only the best of the best will make it!

Jake Spillers and the 76 POW-MIA/ MyComputerCareer.edu Freedom Car come into the event carrying some momentum from another competitive Late Model venue, The World Series of Stock Car Racing. Jake finished the last four nights with all top ten finishes including his best finish on the last night of 7th. “We learned a lot at Speedweeks and are looking forward to taking that experience and using it in my first PASS Super Late Model race” said Spillers. Jake will be making his PASS Super Late Model debut after competing, and winning, in a PASS Pro Late model car in 2015.

The POW-MIA/ MyComputerCareer.edu Freedom Car is scheduled to make racing appearances in many areas including Raleigh, Charlotte, Columbus, Indianapolis and Texas. There is a lot of great racing on the schedule for the Freedom Car in 2016. The World Series was a great start, racing for a points Championship in our home state, races near MyComputerCareer campuses and other well known events like this weekends’ Easter Bunny 150 have everyone excited for the 2016 racing season! Due to an early cancellation of the PASS race at Southern National Motorsports Park I'll be visiting our MyComputerCareer.edu friends in Indianapolis for this weekend's 100 lap CRA Super Late Model race at Lucas Oil Raceway! This will be my biggest race to date at the largest track I've ran at! With the experience here from Team Johnson Motorsports we should have some good speed and be competitive for the race on Sunday at 1:00 pm!
