Did you know?
A healthy smile relies on good daily care for your teeth and gums. Bacteria in your mouth can cause tooth decay and gum disease, so you need to brush and clean between your teeth every day to keep bacteria under control!

The recommends that you..

▪Brush twice per day for 2 minutes each time: When you brush, use small, circular strokes on each tooth. Brush both the inside and outside surfaces, as well as the chewing surfaces.

▪Use a toothpaste that has fluoride: Fluoride helps harden your enamel, helping protect it from the acids produced by plaque.

▪Use a toothbrush with soft bristles: Hard bristles can be harsh on your gums and may cause them to recede. You can use a manual or powered toothbrush. Both work well for cleaning teeth.

▪️See your dental hygienist routinely for your dental cleanings! Regular dental visits are essential for the maintenance of healthy teeth and gums. If you need additional help, or if you suffer from periodontal disease, you may require more frequent visits.

Help us welcome our newest team member, Andrea! 🌟
Andrea was born in Mexico and came to the US at age 5, and has lived in Charlotte ever since.

She is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English, and is a wonderful asset to our team assisting our Spanish speaking patients.

Though Andrea is a certified Dental Assistant, she found her passion in managing the front office. She loves assisting patients in whatever area she can.

When not in the office, Andrea is a devoted mother to her beautiful daughter. They enjoy car rides and trips to the Aquarium.

Have you been considering a dental implant?
Implants are essentially a high-tech replacement tooth that mimics the whole tooth structure.
A titanium “root” is snugly inserted into the bone and is used to support a crown, bridge or denture. It looks, feels and acts like a real tooth and can last a lifetime if properly cared for.
While the process may seem long, the final result for dental implants is worth the investment of time and cost.
If you would like to find out if you are a good candidate for dental implants, come see us for a consultation to go over any questions you may have. We can’t wait to see your smile! ✨
