⛰️ Just 6 weeks to go.
In six short weeks, Mark Allison will begin his climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, taking on Africa’s highest peak to help raise funds and awareness for four incredible organizations making a difference in the lives of those impacted by cancer and hardship.
Every step of this 19,341-foot journey is dedicated to supporting:
💙 Denise Kuchinski
💙 BarrelAgedCharities.org
💙 The Meggs Foundation
💙 Paula Takacs Foundation
If you’re able, please consider making a donation. Every dollar helps us continue supporting families, funding programs, and creating hope where it’s needed most. 💕
Together, we can turn one mountain climb into a lasting help for our nonprofit beneficiaries. 🎉🙏🏻💯

Some people cook. Some lead. Some compete. Some give back. 🎉🫶🏻
Chef Andres somehow manages to do all of it while also being a devoted husband, proud father of two girls, and one of the genuinely good people in the culinary community. Which is frankly annoying for the rest of humanity trying to keep up. 😎🙌🏻
Today we celebrate Chef Andres from the Charlotte Marriott City Center. A talented and gifted chef, a fierce competitor among his peers, an active leader within the American Culinary Federation, and someone who continually gives back to his community with heart and humility.
The industry is better because of chefs like him.✨✨✨
Happy Birthday to an outstanding chef, leader, husband, father, and friend. 💯
Wishing you continued success, health, happiness, and another year of inspiring everyone around you. ✨🫶🏻
Chef coats fade, burns heal, tickets keep printing… but character like yours lasts. 🍻🎂🔥

Somewhere today, someone is sitting beside a hospital bed holding their mother’s hand.
Somebody else is missing their mom so deeply they can still hear her voice in the quiet moments.
And somewhere, a mother fighting cancer is still showing strength she probably doesn’t even realize she has.
Mother’s Day can be beautiful, joyful, heartbreaking, complicated, and deeply emotional all at once. 💖
At Chefs Against Cancer, we honor the mothers who raised us, supported us, protected us, fought for us, and loved us through every chapter of life. We also honor the women currently facing cancer with courage that words rarely capture.
🪻To the moms in treatment.
🌸To the survivors.
🌻To the caregivers.
🌺To the daughters carrying memories.
🌼To the women who continue to show up for everyone else while quietly carrying their own battles.
We see you. We celebrate you. We thank you. 🙏🏻
Cancer has touched far too many families. That’s exactly why this community exists. To raise awareness, support local families and organizations, and remind people they are not walking through this alone. Strange species, humans. Fragile and unbelievably resilient at the same time. ✨
Today, hug your people a little tighter. Make the phone call. Share the story. Say the thing you keep putting off. 💖
Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Chefs Against Cancer. ❤️

Happy birthday 🥳🥳🥳
Some people lead with noise.
He leads with heart, consistency, and showing up when it matters most.
Happy Birthday to the guy who somehow manages to be a fearless leader for Chefs Against Cancer, an incredible father to three boys, a soon-to-be husband, and still the kind of person who actually listens when you speak. Rare. Almost suspiciously rare.
He believes in people, even when they don’t believe in themselves yet. He gives without keeping score. He works hard, loves harder, and somehow stays grounded through all of it. 😎
Also… let’s not overlook the real VIP here.
Toby. Proud dog dad energy at its finest.🐶
Here’s to another year of impact, purpose, and building something that actually matters. 🫶🏻🙌🏻💯💕

🧪 National Cancer Research Month (May) should be more than a hopeful quote and a heart emoji.
It should look like: 🫶🏻
• Supporting research funding and trusted orgs moving science forward
• Honoring fighters + survivors, and remembering the loved ones we’ve lost
• Sharing credible info (not “miracle cures” from a stranger with a ring light)
• Showing up for families in the hardest season of their lives
If you want organizations worth following and supporting, start here: ⬇️
• American Association for Cancer Research:
• National Cancer Institute:
• Stand Up To Cancer:
• American Cancer Society:
• Cancer Research Institute:
• American Institute for Cancer Research:
• Breast Cancer Research Foundation:
• Blood Cancer United (LLS): and
• Cancer Research UK:
At Chefs Against Cancer, we’re here to support those impacted by cancer, honor the fighters and survivors, and remember the ones we’ve lost, while pushing for the research that changes what’s possible.✨

🔵 Testicular Cancer Awareness Month (April) should be more than a post. It should mean:
Know the signs (and don’t “wait it out”):
• Lump or swelling in a testicle
• Heaviness in the sc***um
• Dull ache in the groin/lower abdomen
• Sudden scrotal swelling or discomfort
Know key risk factors:
• Family history
• Undescended testicle (cryptorchidism)
About self-exams (real talk): Some advocacy and urology groups encourage regular self-checks, but the USPSTF recommends against routine screening in asymptomatic males. Either way, if you notice a new lump, swelling, or change, get evaluated promptly.
Follow/support organizations doing the work:
