A recent formal cutting garden install we completed earlier this summer. Crisp boxwood parterre’s, seating with a view, and a gorgeous fountain.

Can you believe this is year one!? Proof that small spaces can be very impactful and functional. Elated for my clients. 🥰

Some of my favorite floral combinations & shots from Great Dixter & Sissinghurst Castle.

Never thought Id enjoy a pop of red so much. The poppies really brought depth to the beds at Great Dixter!

Sissinghurst had beautiful garden rooms each with a different theme / color. While Great Dixter was a tad smaller had gorgeous topiaries and hedges and was packed to the brim with perennials. If I had to choose, Great Dixter was my favorite.

It’s been a minute since we’ve talked about putting greens! Turf is great for small low maintenance spaces and the quality has improved immensely. If you’ve got room, may as well include a putting green and polish up on your game. Hope you don’t mind my ode to Happy Gilmore! 😜

One more appreciation post to The crabapple espalier alley is easily my favorite part of the garden. Bunny Mellon was an artist with plants and the foundation has taken such great care in preserving the garden.
