Happy Shark week everyone 🦈
Let’s all remember that shark week is first and foremost an entertainment business and not everything you see there is fact. Sharks are often sensationalized and painted in a scary light. With that being said I do love that everyone talks about sharks for a week and conversations about their conservation can be had with the general public. Sharks need our help so let’s all focus on that 👌🏼

Unique shark alert 🚨
The Tasselled Wonbegong is a carpet shark that spends its time chillin on the ocean floor waiting for prey to swim by. This was a new shark for me and I’m in love. They have highly branched skin flaps around their mouths and a unique pattern for extra camouflage.
The shark in the first photo is tricky to see but I loved the way it is perched on a large coral head 🪸
