Till next time Charleston! Second shooting a wedding this past Saturday, I had the opportunity to take my wife with me to Charleston for a little mini weekend away. We love Charleston and if you ever get the opportunity, you HAVE to stop by Robert Lange Studios. We were captivated by the pieces on display. The hyper-realism of some with a perspective that I’ve not seen before and some with a unique style that was not like others I’d seen. There was even some interactive pieces to use your own creativity. You won’t regret the visit.

PS: Charleston may have become my favorite place to photograph. Gorgeous, to-die-for photos to follow later.

That time when I visited one of the best galleries in the country, mustered up the courage to introduce myself to the owner, delivered my elevator speech, and a few hours later got an invite to submit work to an installation he was involved in. You gotta take risks, friends, and that's when the good stuff happens (in life and in making your art, for that matter!). Thank you Robert Lange Studios for the chance to be in All The Blues at the The Vendue Hotel. And, for that matter, creating such a beautiful space to enjoy spectacular art, build cairns, and swing.
