So now that tiktok is on hiatus, can instagram photos without the reels make a comeback? I miss when a photo was just enough.

I’ve had the privilege of calling this beautiful family part of my navy family. Submarine families, we build a special bond through sea tour, we become family for life. I admire this mamas strength and resilience during the last few months, she is truly the best mother, so when I found out her husband was coming home, there was no question I would figure out to squeeze in a family session for them. We were blessed with such a perfect evening.

If you see me barking at dogs during my photoshoots, well forget you saw me doing it, but just remember it works 😂🤪

Watching my beautiful families grow is so incredibly special. Schedule those annual photoshoots, don’t stress about the chaos or what to wear, or worry about how you look, i live for chaos and you only have one life to live. Childhood is fleeting, let’s make sure we capture those moments to hold onto forever.

These two were are some of my OG clients. 8 years in between sessions but they still look like they haven’t aged a day. Wrapping up their gorgeous gallery, it didn’t look like we were going to get much of sunset and it was windy, but the sky opened up at the very end.

As summer is getting close to ending another busy season is amongst us. I was originally supposed to be moving to Washington State in the fall, but my husband and I decided that it was not worth uprooting our kids for the short time he has left in the navy, especially since we are likely moving to North Carolina to lay our permanent roots. With that being said, I will be doing life on my own with 3 kids and full time hockey schedule. Monday-Friday we will be at the rink and have hockey tournaments in between that. I will only be booking Sundays from here on out and very few because in order to be the best photographer for my clients, I also need to take care of myself first. If you don’t see me posting a lot, I am still around, but if the next season of my life is going to be very demanding and I need to make sure I am in the best state of mind for my kids, and the demands of social media can be so draining.

I think the island was trying to call me home this weekend. My creative soul longs for Hawaii, every.. single.. day and this sunset gave me all the island vibes. I think I need to make a trip soon 🏝️ 🌺🏄‍♀️

After some crazy weather and working around my kids crazy hockey schedule, I finally got to knock out my first session of 2024 with this gorgeous little family! It has been such an honor to document their journey here over the last couple years.
