Weβve raised $5M in Series A funding. π
For too long, compliance has been treated as a checkbox: policies stored in folders, reports buried in spreadsheets, investigations scattered across tools, and audit preparation turning into a last-minute document hunt.
That model is breaking.
Modern companies need more than a reporting channel. They need a system that helps them detect risk early, manage cases consistently, investigate properly, and prove what happened when it matters. πͺ
Thatβs what weβre building at FaceUp.
Today, we're trusted by 3,600+ organizations across 70+ countries, including Zendesk, Mercedes-Benz, Vercel, Heineken, Sephora, KFC, and Taco Bell.
This funding will help us accelerate product development, expand internationally, and continue building a more practical, proactive, and transparent approach to compliance.
The round was led by Fil Rouge Capital, with participation from JIC Ventures, Venture to Future Fund, Gi21 Capital, returning investors Tilia Impact Ventures and Reflex Capital, as well as angel and employee investors.
Thank you to our customers, partners, investors, and the entire FaceUp team. π

Brazilβs updated NR-1 regulation is changing how companies approach workplace safety and compliance π§π·
With enforcement starting on May 26, 2026, employers are expected to move beyond informal processes and adopt structured approaches to identifying, managing, and documenting workplace risks β including psychosocial risks such as workload, harassment, and workplace conflict.
Together with our partner Jana Chezanoski from RISO Global, we explored what these changes mean in practice for employers in Brazil, including:
- What psychosocial risks mean under NR-1
- Who the regulation applies to
- What companies need to do before enforcement begins
- Potential penalties for non-compliance

πΊπΈ US companies expanding internationally usually focus on hiring, payroll, and growth first. But one area still catches many by surprise: privacy expectations.
As Miranda Zolot shared in our recent webinar, the biggest shift isn't regulatory. It's cultural.
In the US, systems often default to opt-out. In Europe and many other regions, the expectation is opt-in consent and genuine individual control over personal data.
That's not a small tweak. It changes how you design signup flows, draft contracts, handle employee data, and run marketing. Companies that treat it as a checkbox exercise tend to find out the hard way, through regulator letters, stalled deals, or lost customer trust. πΈ
At FaceUp, we see this every day: trust is the foundation that makes global expansion actually work. Whistleblowing, HR, and compliance systems only deliver value when people believe their data is protected.
Global expansion isn't just about opening new markets. It's about earning trust on local terms.
