The best formula for CHRONIC PAIN in soft tissues (*different than just being sore from a workout) is:

STRETCH + STRENGTHEN.

Lots of people are doing the stretching but not the strengthening, and they’re also stretching the wrong part!

Most of the time, we actually don’t want to stretch the area where we feel pain (your low back for example.)
Instead, we want to be stretching the SURROUNDING areas.

Your back is in pain because it’s WEAK.

And the bigger, stronger muscles that work in conjunction with your low back are actually TIGHT and pulling on those smaller weaker muscles, which causes them to constantly be in pain.

If you want to relieve that chronic pain then, you actually need to:

👉🏼 STRETCH the tight muscles (in this case: generally glutes, hammies, hip flexors)

👉🏼 STRENGTHEN the weak muscles (low back in this example.)

Are you guilty of over-stretching the places where you experience chronic pain?

Start STRENGTHENING them! We go over all this in your first FREE session. We’ll talk about injuries, pain and how we can get you back to feelin’ GOOD 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

A lot of trainers, coaches and group fitness instructors will just aim to ABSOLUTELY MURDER their clients through intense workouts with excessive jumping & other not-very-well-thought-out movements because they want to give them a “good workout.”

We get it!
