I have an early ! A client asked me for something pumpkin themed for a baby shower. Piping pumpkins can be quick and easy.

Using a star tip, pipe a small line for the center. Pipe a little curve on either side and another straight across the top. As you get to the top, release pressure and it will naturally go thinner.

Normally, I would use a round #3 and leaf tip to pipe some vines and leaves. For this one, I used rolled fondant and painted with gold luster dust.

These are little CakeBites. They are 2” 2 layers of cake with filling. I bake square cakes and use a circle cutter.

This man was incredible. He transformed the cake industry. I don’t say that lightly. Nicholas not only made room for new artists but dedicated hours to teaching and encouraging. He was talented in ways I can’t articulate. He was brilliant and I mourn the loss of not only his bright soul but for our loss as a community.

I haven’t forgotten. He still works at your company. Your dedication to women and eradicating the hostile work place was puffery.
