Bribes are ok! Yep I said it!! 😉😏 Promising your kids a special treat in exchange for their cooperation is sometimes the only way to get good photos of everyone. This treat could be anything that is special or matters to your kids … ice cream, candy, stickers, extra screen time, skipping a chore, an extra book from the library, family movie night, etc. Pick what works best for the age of your child and then have fun together during your session! Also don’t expect perfection…I don’t and I promise I’ll give all the direction you need during your session! 🫶🏼

I’m behind on sharing all the wonderful things and events I’ve captured this year through my lens.

This day for Camryn and John was so incredibly special! I’m always honored when I get to share in these special life events and moments for each of you, but this was even more so because I’ve gotten to know Camryn and her rock star momma over the years through our foster adventures with our local animal shelter! I also now feel that much older because this sweet girl I did senior photos for is now all married and grown!

Congratulations again Mr. & Mrs. Gradick! Your day was incredible and so perfect! Praying all God’s blessings on you both as you start this next chapter! Cheers to 50+ years together! 🥂🍾

I love shooting at golden hour! That beautiful soft lit time of day, the reason for this is the light is so much softer. And I get it during the summer that can be late. Sometimes parents are concerned kids will be tired or cranky for family shoots at that time of day, but trust me when I say not to worry because this is a once a year event and they’ll be so distracted by being outdoors and all my crazy antics, you’ll be fine!! 😉 But really trust me on this one! And if you can get them to take a later nap, you’ll be golden. Plus all the bribes. I’m not above that! 😆

…oh hey October!! 👋🏻 Nice to see you again! 🍂 I’m honestly not even sure how we’re here already. I feel like it was just August yesterday and the kids were going back to school.

But fall is here, even though it’s still in the 80’s in South Carolina! 😆 But I forgot how much I love fall light that we have for sessions, maybe I’m a nerd, but it just seems to hit differently! There’s just something about the light and colors that differ slightly from the summer. Also how cute is this crew?? I was honored to meet this adorable family while they were in town when they youngest little peanut arrived. Also I’m sorry, but mom just gave birth to number 5, and looks amazing! 🫶🏼 I’m so blessed that I got to meet and spend time with you all Kidd family! Praying for all things as you transition into a family of 7! 🤍 Thank you for giving me the honor of capturing some memories for you all!
