Mid-century Modern Stools - Solid Walnut

Darbie asked me to make some risers for a couple of the lamps in her office. I took the opportunity to work on my design skills and try a new techniques (halflap on a curved and rounded over base). So now we have overbuilt, solid walnut stools that are destined to sit under lamps for the rest of their life.

I recently made a couple of cocktail boards for one of my favorite people on YouTube He was kind enough to give a shout-out in a recent post. The link is in my story.

The one with black text is made from Curly Maple. The one with white text is made from Garapa.

I just wrapped up another batch of end grain boards. The chaos citrus boards have become a favorite of mine, but damn, they are a pain to make. I'll have these and more with me at the from 5-9 this Saturday at

MTG Cube Boxes

The first box is inspired by the and collab. Made from edge grain plywood. The second is made from Garapa with Walnut splines.

I recently purchased a and I needed somewhere to store it. I've always admired the gear so I thought this would be a fun project to combine 2 of my hobbies. The hidden barrel hinges are awesome but they were a little bit of a pain to set up. I also recessed some magnets to help them stay closed.
