***BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!***
The Biscuit Shed is finally getting ready to re-open its doors! This time in Charleston, SC! If you have been following me, it’s probably because you tried one of our biscuits in Brattleboro, VT. This is where it all began. My old landscape trailer and a 1950’s garland oven. Posted up on the side of the road, in front of the local Farmers Market, selling breakfast biscuits with local sausage and jam. Being raised in the south, I saw a need for people to be able to get a biscuit. I got so much love from Brattleboro and a huge part of my heart is still there. With the help of some amazing Biscuit Shed supporters, I moved into an enclosed trailer. We sold roadside for a few years before deciding to move back south. Being that most of my extended and now immediate family is here, we chose you Charleston! After a couple years here working, and trying to wait-out the pandemic, we have decided it’s time. What you are seeing here is our new food trailer! We downsized from a 28’ to an 18’ so that we can be more mobile. Making a trip to slang’ biscuits at a music festival more feasible. Would also be easier to drive up to Vermont for ski season:) Who knows?!🤷♂️ For now though, we are preparing for a soft opening this week and hoping to announce some road side locations very soon! We are excited to be able to apply for local events and sell fried chicken biscuits at breweries. Charleston, we know you like biscuits and can’t wait for you to try one of ours! Our mission is to make you a biscuit experience that you won’t forget. Striving to always use quality ingredients that make our food taste delicious. Stop in and try one for yourself! Or try a roasted potato bowl with local eggs and sausage. Sweet tooth craving? How about a glazed cinnamon biscuit or fried donut? We are just overwhelmed to have this opportunity again and can’t wait to start slangin’ biscuits. Keep an eye out for a post with our updated menu. See you soon!
Hello Biscuit Brigade, and greetings from Charleston, SC!
Meet my nephew, Leo:)
We love and miss all of our Brattleboro family!
It’s been too long since our last post and I know some of you are wondering what we have been up to. The Shed is still hibernating in VT while we get all our ducks in a row here. Charleston has no idea what is about to hit them:) We do not have an opening date or location set, but you all will be the first to know! How many people remember their first biscuit from the shed?
Wow! What a turn out for our “last weekend” open🤠. Some of you said “I can’t believe you’re not going to be open Labor Day weekend.” Well I can’t believe it either, and neither can Jerry 🐱. Hopefully it’s ok that we have decided to be open Friday - Monday from 8-3. That’s right! If you drove by the shed last weekend and couldn’t stop because we were so busy, you have one more chance. Thank you so much again for all your support. Come celebrate your back-to-school weekend at the Shed!
Hopefully everyone is having a great week so far. We really appreciate everyone coming out to see us before we leave town. Also happy for those of you who have finally stopped and tried our food . Only one more weekend left bicuiteers! Get it while you can!🤠
(open until 2 today)
If you have heard a rumor that we are moving ... it’s true! Brattleboro has been a wonderful place to start my business. All the support from the community has given me the opportunity and the courage to pursue my dream. Everything has happened for a reason. Some of you already know this, I had never made a biscuit before I moved to Vermont! When I originally applied to the Farmers Market our name was going to be “Farm to Crepe”. At the last minute, after talking with friends, I decided to sell biscuits. We concluded that biscuits are like the American crepe. You can put anything sweet or savory on them. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to create a recipe, surpassed even my own expectations. (I’ve eaten a lot of delicious biscuits) The jury for the market didn’t hesitate at all when I dropped off biscuits and told them I was actually going to call myself “The Biscuit Shed”. That year I converted my old landscape trailer into a kitchen. This has turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I cannot thank everyone enough for all the support and patience as I’ve grown over the past few years. It’s truly been a blessing and I couldn’t have done it with out y’all 🤠 Never did I think that I would want to go back South and sell biscuits. There are biscuits literally everywhere. Look out Biscuit Country! We are bringing some of Vermont’s finest ingredients with us. We think you’re going to taste the difference😉 There are two weekends left for you to come and get a hot breakfast sandwich or fried chicken biscuit! Sunday, August 25th will be our last day open. Please stop in and say good bye before we head for Charleston, SC. 🏖
We out here slaaaaaangin BISCUITS! Open until 2 today👍

"I double-dog dare you to follow The Biscuit Shed page and not find yourself pulled involuntarily to the car, headed to Brattleboro." Said Sarah Sherman, writer of this article published January of this year in the Keene Sentinel (and can be found in the link below).
Well, Sarah, it's safe to say your dare worked. After hearing so many new customers volunteer the information of hearing about the Shed from having read the article below and following their best instincts, we'd like to send our warmest Thank You to the author!
Making adults blush with her enthusiasm for our food, Sarah quite eloquently states, "The buttery and flaky biscuit was without a doubt the best I have ever tasted". Please, by all means, let her article entice you ☺️ but make sure to try us out yourself, so that you can call yourself a member of the Biscuit Brigade, too 😀
sentinelsource.com After months of watching my friends post mouth-watering photos on Facebook and cyberstalking for open dates, I was finally able to taste the buttery baked biscuit deliciousness of The Biscuit
