As moms we often feel as if our lives are on auto pilot, like someone else is in charge. Love yourself, gain confidence, its time to go vertical first!

I am here to help you take back control over your life with a vertical ascension. Journaling is a great way to get started on your journal Vertical! Through prompts, meditations, and more you can begin to understand yourself better, and therefore make decisions that effect your life in the way that you desire! Instead of sitting back and letting life - just happen!

Drop your shoulders, relax your face. Take a deep breath 😮‍💨

It’s okay to not know who you really are or what you really want or need from life.

We are taught what we SHOULD want and what we SHOULD like and what we SHOULD do from a young age.

I’m 36 and it’s only been in more recent years that I’ve discovered that:

Being myself is OK, it’s actually more than okay. I’ve been able to relax more, laugh more, love more, be more present, and I’ve been truly happy for like the first time ever.

Peace ☮️ 🕊 That’s all that I want

The highest version of myself is someone who doesn’t allow their worry and anxiety to control their state of being- like constantly.

I’m over it. My goal is ✌🏼

How do we obtain peace in our lives?

By taking control (and I mean with both hands) of the things that we CAN control- ourselves

Banana and chocolate protein smoothie



pea protein chocolate milk and unflavored and unsweetened pea protein powder made a LOVELY smoothie this morning!

Self-Control is the 🗝 to life!

Day 4- being who I need to be today in order to support my future self!

I want to be someone that truly enjoys their life. Some one who’s excited to jump out of bed, who doesn’t let the little things get to them.

I have to shift my mindset today, be self controlled. Understand myself, understand how and why my mind works the way that it does.

I have to do the mindset work and release myself of well- myself!

Day 3! Goal: to be someone who is in control of themselves instead of allowing her body to control her!
i.e not being controlled by my emotions

Idk about you but I can definitely blow s**t out of hand sometimes.

My pride or ego gets hurt or negatively effected in some way - and it’s like “gloves off!” Bare knuckle boxing …

I don’t want to be controlled by my emotions.

I want to be in control of my reactions.

The best way to do that? Know why you react the way that you do, catch your thoughts, learn about them, study them, question them, challenge them.

Sitting and walking meditation and journaling has helped me big time with all of this!

Day 2: Goal: Be someone who takes charge of the outcome of her life!

By nature I usually just go with the flow. Path of least resistance. 🫣 Don’t judge me.

But I’m doing something about it now!

If I want to be someone who plans, sets goals, takes actionable steps, and moves forward in a direction of my own choosing …

I have to BE someone TODAY who is patient with myself, motivated by clear goals, focused ON those clear goals, and aware of the thoughts that I allow to direct my life!

What is a goal that you are working on?? Who can you be today in order to set your future self up for success? Whatever that may look like to you!

We have to make small changes in our daily habits and activities to see true change in our lives!

10 Days! Be who you need to be today to set yourself up to be the person you want to be tomorrow!

Change is hard. We WANT change.

But not often enough or badly enough to change the circumstances that we are in!

(Good or bad being irrelevant)

If you have a goal for the future, think about WHO that person IS that’s achieved that goal. Embody them. Embody yourself, your future self.
Bring her into the present moment, you’ll find that your pathway becomes more clear!

# 4: Consider the person from your letter, your future self. What habits has this person implemented in order to get where she is?
Write out the traits, qualities, and activities of this future version of yourself and journal around what this person’s daily activities (habits routines) look like!

We must BE today who we desire to be tomorrow!!
