🌻If you’re always experiencing a lot of lifting and breaks, then it may not be a prep issue. You’re putting too much pressure on your nails. 🫠

🌻The middle of your nail extension is called the apex, that is the structure that is the most raised and creates the strength of the nail.

🌻You can buy a card swiper or specific tools made for people who have longer nails to help your nails looking prestige longer.

Do you have Frankie Stein or Frankenstein nails?? 🫣

The winter can be especially harsh on your hands and nails, so extra moisture may be needed. 🥶

☃️Don’t forget about your toes either. We often think only about our skin and face but forget our hands, especially our feet.

☃️Hands and feet wrinkle too but the more care you take of them, the better they’ll look in the future.

☃️Add in a hand scrub and exfoliation this winter for some extra pampering!

Nails need maintenance like your body needs showers! Okay, may be not that extreme but you get it. 😘

🌻Acrylic nails should be serviced within 2-4 weeks or as soon as lifting starts.

🌻Your nail tech is not just your nail mechanic but they should be educating you as best they can on the overall health of your nails.

🌻They should know when to say ‘Hey, let’s take a break from acrylics’ if the need arises, without you being ready to bite their head off.

🌻Nails extensions are a want, necessary in our eyes, but a want nonetheless. You have to be able to keep them maintained just like lashes or it’s best to stick with a manicure.

💜Something I’ve been getting in the habit of doing is saying daily affirmations to start my day.

💜Life is hectic and doesn’t get easier. Honestly, I wouldn’t want it to because then it’d be a bore at some point.

💜No matter what, you must keep going. So, saying positive statements everyday will help build your mindset and give you that little extra courage you might need.

If you ever notice that your nail beds are thinning or have that peeling look, then your removal maybe the problem! 🫣

🌻Patience is virtue. Take your time removing your nails.

🌻Watch for flaking when removing acrylic. If it does not flake, then monomer with MMA was used and that is a NO NO. 🙅🏽‍♀️ MMA has been banned because of its health issues and it can cause you allergic reactions.
