Some final thoughts from one of our company members before we film our show tomorrow. I miss everything about performing. “I miss the lights, the costumes, the makeup. I miss the before show shenanigans with my friends. I miss the bittersweet curtain call at the end. I am so excited to get back out on that stage. I'm also so grateful that my studio has been able to stay open and keep everyone safe this past year. Dance is my creative outlet and honestly don't know what I would do without it.”

A few thoughts from another one of our company members: Right now, dance means a lot to me because it's an escape from the constant stress of everything happening outside the studio. One thing I've missed about performing this past year is the rehearsals. Rehearsals are fun because I get to spend more time with my friends and we all work together really well.

More thoughts from our dancers: I love the energy and camaraderie there is leading up to and during a show, as well as the feeling of performing for others.
I missed being able to connect to the
audience in a theater. There is such a magical feeling of being able to communicate with someone through dance. Dance is an important part of my life; it is a way for me to express myself, provides a creative outlet, and helps
ground me in other aspects of life.

As we get ready to film this years spring ballet show, some of our dancers have some thoughts on the past year. The thing I miss the most about performing is the feeling of adrenaline as you stand in the wings, waiting for your cue to shine. There is always so much excitement behind the scenes that the audience doesn’t see! The past year’s experience has taught us all to enjoy the little moments in life with the people that mean the most to us. For me, the studio has always been, and will always be my second home.
