In a recent discussion with like-minded school organizations, they shared that COVID-19 has led to increased stress and behavioral concerns for students including increased bullying. Additionally, facility funds intended for school safety were diverted to cover the cost of PPE. While we applaud the effort to keep our children and teachers safe, now more than ever that must include their facility as well. How many classrooms have you seen without locks or with doors that lock from the outside? There are many serious life safety concerns for schools that must continue to be addressed. Schools should not have to choose between which type of safety they can afford. Learn more about our commitment to school safety: https://bit.ly/3iEOgkg
