Dear colleagues

We have had a very busy period in the lead-up to our abstract and early-bird deadline. There has been a great response and we’re confident that it’s going to be a tremendous conference. To allow a few extra people to get their abstracts in, we have decided to extend both deadlines (abstracts and early-bird registration) to midnight GMT on Tuesday 22nd April). Note that there will be no further extensions!
Session convenors are already looking at abstracts and we expect to be in touch with all presenters shortly with confirmation of their abstracts.

He was very active in The Clay Minerals Society and was President from 2008-2009.
He will be greatly missed.

The CMS Student Travel (for CMS Annual Meeting, July 13-18, Dublin, Ireland) and Research Grant applications have been posted to the CMS Website (www.clays.org) under the Awards/Grants tab.

CMS Membership is NO longer a requirement to apply.
Deadline for the Travel Grant application is: Thursday, February 3, 2025
Deadline for the Research Grant application is: Friday, March 3, 2025
The abstract you submit for the CMS Annual Meeting will be the one you use for the Travel Grant Application. You must submit your abstract via the conference website and submit again with your travel grant application.
