The angled closet in this Mud Room space was obtuse in more ways than one. It lacked function and wasted space, so we opened it up and made a cute command center with vacuum/mop/any-tall-item-you-would-want-to-hide-away-but-easily-access storage. Swipe to see the “meh” this Mud Room started as.

We closed out the year being able to put a ✔️next to “𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨” on the list of things to do in 2020. And because a photo shoot isn’t hard enough to prepare for, in true 2020 style electricity was out and a generator was included on the list of styling items along with the Swiss Chard. 🥬 A huge thank you to for helping us see it through and expertly playing the game of musical extension cords. Looking forward to calling “that’s a wrap” to 2020. 🎬

Can you keep a secret? 🤫 The cabinet over the fridge is hinged on the side, it was just made to look like a vertical lift. Not a secret is how much I love this crown. Tell everyone.

A cozy kitchenette designed for a newly constructed barn. With the floating ledge think wine and cheese on a pretty day (or every day). The low sheen painted and distressed cabinets fit the character of the space perfectly. Having had my cabinets distressed by kids over the years, it is much prettier having it done by Greenfield Cabinetry.

The highly-anticipated (and highly gorgeous) faucets were just installed meaning that this special project is officially completed. Working on this stunning transformation was a welcome bright spot over the last few months that could feel bleak at times, and to see the end result is like permanent sunshine.

Visited a project being completed by , deconstruction of an 8500 sf townhouse and the salvaged materials will be sold, recycled or eventually upcycled (picture turning an old radiator into a fashionable lawn ornament). Today reaffirmed my love of painted brick and the sound of a running river (not together 😉), and I was able to buy a new old wine cellar door that will find a new home in the showroom. And the next purchase may be a radiator. 🐑
