Our Achievement Award is presented to the individual who has demonstrated outstanding job ex*****on and high-quality results. This year, we were proud to present this award to Dan Flake, Operations Manager in our North Carolina landscape construction branch.

Dan started out as an Assistant Field Manager in Virginia Landscape, and in the six years he’s been with Ruppert, he’s worked his way up to Field Manager, Production Manager, and now Operations Manager. As a testament to his hard work, he has won the Branch Impact Award in both branches – in 2019 for Virginia and in 2021 for North Carolina. He has played a huge role in the success of the North Carolina branch, and he’s known for his dedicattion, hard work, and for setting a great example for his team. We’re all very proud and grateful for what he’s achieved and look forward to many great things from him in the future. Congrats, Dan!

Our Distinction Award is presented to the individual or group who has demonstrated outstanding dedication and devotion to the principles and ideals of our company. This year, we were proud to present this award to a team who were instrumental in helping us review and evaluate our strategic options about the direction of the company that ultimately led to the decision to partner with Knox Lane. Due to the confidentiality that was necessary, we started calling that process "Project West."

The Project West team is unique and special and took us on a journey we’ve never been on before. It’s through their hard work and incredible dedication that we were able to meet with potential investors and put our best foot forward. This team gave us the information and choices that enabled us to choose the best partner and path that will carry Ruppert Landscape and its culture into the future. Thank you and congratulations to the entire Project West team!

Our Crew Member of the Year (COY) award is presented to the crew member in each branch who has demonstrated superior self-motivation and exceptional field production. Please join us in congratulating this group and thanking them for their tireless efforts to produce high-quality work!

Our crew members are the heart of our company. They are performing a multitude of duties, working in all weather conditions, waking up early, often getting home late, all while projecting a professional image and being the face of our company. Many of our crew members go home to visit family in their country of origin during the winter season, so we typically give this award out in December at each branch’s holiday party. However, we were proud to recognize several of our COY winners who were able to attend our recent awards banquet.

We're excited to host our 20th annual awards banquet, recognizing outstanding talent across the company. Stay tuned to find out our Branch Impact Award winners, as well as the recipients of our Distinction, Achievement, and Merit Award!

Keynote speaker Dennis Snow shares the principles of creating an excellent customer experience.

Dennis honed his customer service abilities over 20 years with the Walt Disney World Company and is now a full-time public speaker, trainer and consultant who helps organizations achieve goals related to customer service, employee development, and leadership.

Today at we've split up into smaller groups for breakout sessions covering horticultural, operational, and management training topics. This session, called Devil in the Details, goes in depth on landscape maintenance best practices.

Our first keynote speaker of the day, Tim Gard, brings a little humor to the day's presentations and shows us how to use comedy to change the game.

Closing out day one of , CEO Craig Ruppert and President Phil Key talk about the five year plan and take questions from the crowd in a town hall Q&A.

As an open book company, we believe in transparency about our financial standing and plans for the future. We encourage all team members to take ownership in this organization - as Craig always says, "operate as though it's your name on the side of the trucks."

Our 20th annual Management Development Days conference is underway! We're looking forward to connecting with leaders across the company as we learn about where we stand, how we can improve, and where the future may take us.

They celebrated with a team outing to the bowling alley 🎳 and raffled off three $250 Red Wing Boot gift cards. 🥾 Thank you for looking out for one another and keeping safety a priority.
