I got my first camera around the age of 8 and took photos of, literally, everything! I still have photos of my dolls, my bed, my boom box, and more from that first year. Since then, my photos have evolved a bit! Growing up, it was a known fact that I'd have a camera. I have created thousands of images in my everyday life and have completed classes in portrait photography, and Lightroom/Photoshop.

Obviously, right now it is WAY too hot for family pics outdoors. Unless you're into that sun drenched, practically on fire look.🥵☀️🔥Just remember, that doesn't mean you can't have them taken now!! I'll come to your home and catch you having a chat on the couch or baking in your Christmas jammies! Nothing's impossible, right?!

Ok so. This was a truly interesting experiment for me. Taking self portraits, specifically ones that look like these, has been something I've wanted to do for a long time. I imagined me in the blackness with a sort of warm glow. I think I've achieved that. And the weird part is, it wasn't that weird doing this. It wasn't that weird showing a few of the bazillion emotions that come out of me in any given day. It is a little weird though that I actually like what I created and that I feel a little bit beautiful.
