Today marks a milestone celebration - JAM pak's 32nd birthday! Born from the creative spark of elementary school kids at Galveston Elementary, who joined forces with their substitute teacher Anni Beach to keep making music together, JAM pak has grown into something truly special. Thanks to collective effort, dedication, and the generosity of supporters who've contributed instruments, attended performances, and more, we've come a long way. Here's to many more years of making music and empowering each other to reach new heights!

As of Friday, February 27th Howard Anderson, our beloved mentor and banjo coach decided to put his health and days into the hands of Hospice of the Valley. He is resting and chatting with friends and Jam Pak from his bed in The Beach House. Mrs. Beach says, "It's my gift to Howard to care for him here in the Jam Pak place. He has been our encourager and mentor since I stepped into the weekly jam at the Anderson's home in 1995." People are welcome to visit or call him.
