Trader Joe's-Centreville,VA

This is my favorite location so far of the three I've visited, but today blew me away and now it is THE ULTIMATE! So I don't live really close, but taking back roads makes this a nice drive. Haven't been to Trader Joe's for a while just because I've been too busy, but made the trek today and as I proceeded to get in a line, a very nice gentleman told me he could take me right away - nice! Then he asked if I'd found everything, and I said as a matter of fact, no - had really wanted a couple bags of their orange-chicken... he asked an employee to go to the back and get a box, brought two out to me! Next he had another employee go get me another bag of the apples I'd picked out saying that one was bad (I thought I had looked but very grateful.) Then he talked to me, looked me in the eye and seemed truly present - that made my day as I had been feeling isolated. I love this place, I love the employees, I love their products - (I think this man was a manager, so I love their managers!) Customer service the old fashioned way - real. Thank you Trader Joe's - only wish there were more of you!!!

I love you Trader Joe's.... but, I have to say, these taste like Lemon Pledge. I'm sorry, but definitely not a fan. Ew.

Quarantine perk: creating new meals! Found some Trader Joe's-Centreville,VA legume risoni in the pantry, and added sweet potatoes and zucchini sautéed in avocado oil, all topped with Everything but the Bagel seasoning. I’m so excited for lunch leftovers today! What new meals have you enjoyed?

The highlight of my quarantine was going to Trader Joe’s for the first time in like a month and finding this rubber duck cracked into the cement by the registers 😁
