Do you want to build a snow man??? Burrr it is so cold!!! 10 degrees here in Colorado. We are in a mandatory shutdown at least till the am. So we are very safe!!! I am so glad I bought my parka!!!

If this is the same company that uses the Careers World Wide training center in Keenesberg, CO, you all need to THOROUGHLY re-examine the facilities that you use to train your drivers. My nephew was there and the first night there were rats in the "dorm rooms". Then when he spoke to someone about it, they told him to put some peanut butter down on a mouse trap. The shower curtain had mold on it. The "instructor" Bob was rude and were barely in the class, one even blatantly told my nephew to shut up and stop asking so many questions. The recruiter Sean told him not to make anymore telephone calls to speak to anyone about what was going on. Athenia from the front office was also super rude in addition to some guy named Charlie that may or may not have worked there because my nephew had not seen this guy in the entire two weeks that he was there. This school is a joke, and the number of people that have come after with more insight on this school shows just how much of a joke this is. They do not provide safe and clean living conditions, they make subliminal racist remarks to the students, they talk down to them and YET WANT YOU TO CONTINUE TO PAY FOR THIS SERVICE...AT A DRIVING SCHOOL WHERE THE INSTRUCTORS DO NOT TEACH THEM?! Therefore they breach their contract knowing that after you sign they do not plan on teaching you anything. My nephew took a greyhound bus from Georgia to the middle of nowhere, a trip that took nearly 24 hours. I called prior to him going and was told by a female (I believe was Althenia) that this was one of the best schools in America for training. NOT SO!!!! You many not value your drivers in training to provide them with adequate housing and instructors that care about providing quality service, but I certainly care about my nephew and told him to leave that POS driving school and come back to Georgia! This is ridiculous!

Is Dad sleeping yet? I'm going to drive his truck!

So I have a question.. As long as the Riverside Terminal been here, we had an ice machine for the drivers and students, now all of a sudden, the ice machine was given to maintenance (which they had one already) and we the drivers and student have to buy a small ziplock bag of ice for $1.00. So basically you all are saying we the drivers don't deserve to have cold drinks.. We can't go to the shop and get any ice.

Proper packing and preparation of goods are always important when it comes to moving fragile freight. Here are some tips for transporting fragile loads:

• Use a solid base such as four-way pallets made of wood
• Stack it correctly - make sure boxes are stacked in a column pattern (corner to corner) this maintains the greatest stacking strength
• Use edge boards to prevent possible damage from external collisions and band pressure
