Thank you to everyone who came out to the 2023 Kickoff Celebration this past Saturday! We enjoyed an afternoon of bowling and fun with our YMCA family and friends. This year is a special year, in addition to running our Annual Campaign, the branches are also raising funds for their Capital Campaign!
The facility improvements that will come from the Capital Campaign will allow for exciting updates to existing buildings and a brand-new facility in Georgetown! This will allow us to expand our programming and services in order to keep up with the rapid growth within our communities. As always, our Annual Campaign will continue to fund scholarships for those programs so that all can participate regardless of their inability to pay. We appreciate the continued support for the YMCA of Central Texas and our branches and look forward to a very successful 2023!

YMCA Day of Giving is an annual one-day event that provides an opportunity to give to your local YMCA. The Y is one of the nation’s leading nonprofits dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y has been and will always be a place for all! 😄❤️❤️🤲
To ensure that statement stays true, every year the YMCA of Central Texas and its branches work year-round to raise funds for our Annual Campaign so that all can participate in Y programs regardless of their inability to pay. Programs like Y Afterschool, Preschool at the Y, Military Support Camps, Youth Sports, and Swim Safe. Your support is more than monetary. The YMCA of Central Texas and Cornerstone Site Services have partnered again to bring you Red Dirt Sessions 2023 benefitting Y Afterschool and Preschool at the Y. This year Jamey Johnson and Kolby Cooper will be performing acoustic sets for 500 lucky guests. The fun continues at the Afterparty featuring Slim and The Phat Tones. Catering will be provided by our friend Brian Cox and Up In Smoke BBQ and Food Truck. Interested in learning more? Contact Theresa Cirigliano at [email protected].
100% of every dollar raised at this event will go directly back to the Annual Campaign for Y Afterschool and Preschool at the Y; so that no parent ever has to worry if their child has somewhere safe to go after the school bell rings.
