Message from Principal Fitzgerald,
We cordially invite all parents to join us on Monday, December 4, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for an exclusive presentation featuring guest speaker Carolyn Brown, founder of the renowned "Hey Dude, Nice Shoes" anti-bullying and pro-kindness program. At Cox Elementary, we believe in not only educating our students but also fostering a supportive environment for our families.

Bullying has become a pervasive issue, dominating headlines and news stories daily. It is a word that has evolved, and so must our reactions to it. We recognize the urgency of addressing this issue, and that's why we've organized this special presentation.

Ms. Brown, with her wealth of experience, will deliver an empowering and inspiring workshop. Through passionate and honest storytelling, she will connect with both students and parents, bridging the generational gap on this sensitive topic. "Hey Dude, Nice Shoes" is designed to navigate the complexities of growing up, addressing delicate subjects in a manner that encourages understanding.

This presentation goes beyond merely raising awareness; it aims to inspire positive change. By choosing kindness every day, students can become empowered to reshape the community around them for the better. We believe that this event will not only educate but also spark meaningful conversations within our school community.

We look forward to your presence at this important presentation, as we work together to create a safer and more compassionate environment for our students.

* Childcare from 6 years old upwards will be provided by our VRHS volunteers.
