We are very fond of matka silks as they are highly SUSTAINABLE and a low-waste fibre to begin with. It is made from the waste of mulberry silk (Bombyx Mori) without removing its gum. Ours are all spun by HAND in the districts of West Bengal which results in the irregular texture. You can call matka an up-cycled silk.

All of you have loved our solid color matka silks and this half white one is a fan favorite. I have a few pieces that just got here. Endless blouse and/or accessories you can pair with this saree…♥️
