Ok I decided to do one more last min entry! I kicked my color up a knotch and added more dimension to my hair and I changed my money piece by instead of just lilac I mixed in some of the new Elixir from and I am in love! And I love mermaids so I had fun being a mermaid for the night! And of course My hair wouldn’t look that good without my amazing ! I am in love with my hybrid install that is a mix of the new k-tips and wefts! Thanks again Pulp Riot for giving this girl a chance to step out of her box and enter your amazing competition!

This is my first time ever competing in a color competition, actually any hair competition for that matter! Thank you to my amazing friend and fellow educator for convincing me to step out of my box and do this. When I heard fantasy theme my mind automatically went Disney! (No surprise to anyone who knows me lol) I love Maleficent (she is the only villain in my work in progress Disney sleeve) and I was inspired by her. I added a twist with the dragon that lies dormant inside until it is time for it to be released. And because the pulp riot neons are so amazing under black light we had get a few shots with the that as well. So watch out for her because she will put you under her spell!

Sometimes the most unexpected things can have amazing results! So back story! When filming commercials or promos, sometimes you have no idea what you are working with til you get there and meet the model. I colored these extensions on the hotel floor the night before and had no idea who my model was or what color her hair was. When brought one of her clients with a neon blue bob, it was obvious it was meant to be! We threw this look together in less that 30 mins just for the promo, but ended up with such amazing cool results and now the model wants permanent extensions! Never be afraid to be creative and step out of your box!

She started with striped orange hair when she came in (an unfortunate home color boo boo) and two days and many hours later she was transformed with custom colored 24 inch extensions. There are multiple ways to get volume, it doesn’t always have to be a V! For this beauty we did two packs of 24 inch Dreamcatcher in wavy, DC4 to match her own hair and DC7 for a pop of lighter without coloring her own hair. We did a dispersed install so that the color would be distributed throughout and the weight as well. There are so many options when it comes to extensions!

So one of my hobbies I like to do is body paint/special effects. This was my last belly paint I get to do before my nephew arrives anyday. I would have to say I think this is my best too!! Auntie can't wait to hold her sweet Logan!

Desired FX Clients: three announcements. First, Ashley is set to be induced the 5th of June and I am scheduling around that, but we saw the doctor today and they dont really think she will make it til then. They just want her to keep Logan in for two more weeks at least, and then she could go into labor at any point from then. If she goes into labor early and you have an apt booked, I will have to move your apt. I will be staying in the hospital with them for a few days so I will not be working. Please be patient and understanding. This is my only brother and this is his last baby, so it is very important to my family.

That brings me to my second point. Due to her being so far along and the baby being so large, Ashley will only be working when it is absolutely needed. I am already so booked that I am having to give up my only day off several times to try to accommodate everyone. So at this time until we get past the birth and she is back to work, unless you are a regular client (you come in on a regular basis) I wont be able to take anyone else on at this time. I dont want current clients to suffer nor my family to suffer more than they already have. I will announce once I reopen my schedule.

Third announcement. As of June 1st my prices will be going up. The biggest area that will be affected is color, especially vivids. I always try to keep my prices very affordable, but prices for color and supplies go up year by year and I have to accommodate for that and I have not been doing that. I have also been working hard over the last 6 months to improve as a stylist to give my clients the best. Thank you for your understanding. Sometimes the greatest challenge can be the most rewarding. This beautiful young woman found out she had cancer at 5 months pregnant. She gave birth to her beautiful baby and started treatment soon after. She is now done with treatment and if left her with short baby fine hair. We applied 10 packs of 1/2 point Dreamcatcher Hair Extensions, two packs of tape ins to go between the I-tip extensions and they two crown n glory's we attached to the top with half point cylinders. And 10 hours later she left feeling like a new woman! She now does not have to worry about a wig coming on and off! So happy I was able to do this transformation for her!

The before and after of this is incredible! So while at the New York hairshow, I discovered a new company and a product of theirs called Diamond Botox. It is a miracle in a bottle! After her before picture I did a color remove and then bleach with 30 vol after that! Her hair was so dry after that, but once I applied the Diamond Botox it is the healthiest it has felt in years!
