Happy Friday. Today we're excited to spotlight Mick Ambrose, one of our plumbing instructors (Second from right with some of our Fall 2022 plumbing class students). Thank you Mick!

Mick joined our team of instructors in January '22 and can be best described as a person of truth and grace. If you spend any amount of time with Mick, you'll quickly learn that he loves to share his story of how Jesus transformed his life. He loves his family, football, and plumbing (in no particular order). A champion of people, he brings a gift of being able to see potential in others, connect with people from various backgrounds, and share his successes and failures so others can live a fuller life.

He is a licensed Master Plumber with over 20 years of experience, the owner of Energy Plumbing, and a part of ACTS Church Leander.

Let the nations be glad! This is our final week of Fall 2022 semester and we're taking time to celebrate ESL students' growth and reflect on the meaning of Christmas. Plus, eats lots of yummy international food. Nothing like a feast with the nations.

ESL and adult-ed classes resume the week of January 18, 2023. Stay tuned!

BIG NEWS! We are excited to announce our 2 lead instructors for our pre-apprentice electrical class which will relaunch in March 2023.

Marty Reed (Cool Ray Electric Cedar Park) and Steven Lyons (Lyons Electric) are dynamic men of faith, master electricians with extensive professional experience, and most importantly, a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of electricians. We are glad to have them!

Marty: https://coolrayelectric.com/index.html
Steve: http://www.lyonselectric.com/

Kingdom work is a team effort and a commitment to the process. Today was made possible because of the efforts of Tom Laws who connected us with Allied Electrical Services. Shane Massey from Allied took time out of his schedule to provide a course design rubric. Nate Connor at Cornerstone Community Church connected us with Marty and Kathy Glover from Northwest Fellowship connected us with Steve. Thank you all!

The future is bright!

Thanksgiving Thursday continues! We want to thank God for the amazing group of volunteer instructors from over 10 local churches that serve our community.

Meet Ryan Tuttle, one of our lead plumbing instructors. Ryan's a member of Hill Country Bible Church and owner of Texas Water. For the past 3 plumbing classes, Ryan has consistently taught lectures, labs, and bible studies. He is truly a living example of humble leadership. His sense of humor, heart for people, and willingness to go above and beyond make the class a transforming community. Thank you Ryan!
