For this post I’ll walk you through my process on how I attacked this cut.
Slide 1: Finished Product, fade, razor, and shear work is done
Slide 2: I wet and detangled his hair then sectioned it
Slide 3: Debulked with clipper over comb then a #3 guard so I have a “canvas” to begin the fade
Slide 4: Put in my guidelines starting with the bald line. I close my clippers and turn then around as if I was doing a edge up, to tap in the bald line then go behind it and bald it out with a trimmer, I find it far easier to get the skin line out this way
Slide 5: The fade is done all thats left is shear work on the top, I section the top into 3 sections and use the middle section or mohawk as a guide to make sure the entire top is cut the same length
