The season is finally upon us and our Lady Timberwolves start the season off tomorrow night; November 4th at the Timberdome. Freshman and JV teams will play at 5:30pm followed by the varsity at 7:00pm.

This will be a #1 vs. #8 showdown and will be featured as the Texas High School Girl's Game of The Week. Please make plans to join us and be prepared for some exciting action from these young ladies!!

Two days before the banquet, we went to Juarez Industrial Designs looking for a donation item and they delivered! They provided us with a charcuterie board that fit the bill, perfectly. Juarez Industrial Designs isn’t just local, or another business in the community, they’re part of our community. Both of their sons attended CPHS and the younger of them is a senior who played for the boy’s varsity team.

Both teams played their district games at the same locations this year so if you were looking around, you would have seen Robert and his wife sitting at the top of the stands. They even made the trip to SA to watch our championship game! I can’t say it enough, thank you for your continued support, it’s truly appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed.

Please join the team tomorrow, Tuesday, March 22nd as this will be the day our varsity, Back 2 Back State Championship team, will be meeting at the courthouse in Georgetown to receive our proclamation.

All attendees will meet at the courthouse at 9:00am. Presentation to begin shortly after.

Williamson County Commissioner Terry Cook, and Commissioner Cynthia Long, jointly, are looking to bring a proclamation to Commissioners Court to proclaim Timberwolves Girls Basketball Day in Williamson County. We would like to invite the team, parents, administrators, community members, and anyone else who would like to share in this occasion.

I spoke with the coach about the previously recorded games being removed or hidden from the feed since we are about to enter the playoffs. I am looking into saving them before they’re removed but in the meantime, I have changed the page to unpublished so that only we can see the page. If anyone chooses to do a live or post on it, the status will need to be changed back to published for the followers to see it. Thanks - Larry
