Cedar Park Fire Department (CPFD) has once again achieved international accreditation, making us one of just 14 accredited jurisdictions in Texas! 🎉
Under Fire Chief James Mallinger's leadership, this marks our third consecutive accreditation, reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in fire service.

The Cedar Park Fire Department held our annual new hire written exam this morning, we are excited to announce we had a record breaking 181 applicants take the test!

We're happy to announce that the City has retained a Public Protection Classification ISO Rating 1 for the third time. The highest possible rating was achieved through a combined effort across City departments including Fire, Public Works, and Dispatch.

Last 2 days to apply. Applications are due by April 4th 2024.

‪UPDATE: Atmos crews are still working to fix the gas leak. In the meantime, northbound and southbound lanes of Lakeline at New Hope will remain closed overnight. ‬
