Their outstanding service and love for helping out our nonprofit is something we will never forget. Take a look at our women's journey... 🌞
Where do women and their children go after they've exhausted their time at the emergency shelter? Unfortunately, 66% of women reported that they had separated and returned to their abusive partner at least once. (NLM)
Yesterday's Gone is the next step in a woman's journey towards independence. 💛

We'd love to give a HUGE thank you to Northpoint Church for having come out and spend the week with the children on our property. 🤍
"I loved working with the kids this past week and seeing their relationship with God grow! It was such a blessing to be able to form bonds with the kids and watch them light up as we grew their faith. This was one of the most memorable experiences of my year, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to share God’s word with them! " - Kaitlyn Barton, Camp Leader

We'd like to recognize our Board Member of the Month, Edward Jones Financial Advisor: Bill Coffey 🥳
"I was fortunate to have been born in Austin, grew up in Houston and have lived in Texas most of my life. I graduated in engineering from the best university in Texas in 1981 and began working in the offshore oil patch. Eventually I moved to Brazil for work. There, I found a great souvenir, the love of my life, Sandra. We moved to London for a few years and traveled around Europe before returning to Houston.
We were blessed with our son, Lucas and decided we wanted to raise him somewhere else. Thankfully, I found a job with Edward Jones as a financial advisor in the Austin area near family. We landed in Cedar Park where we have lived over 30 years, making friends, attending church and helping the community.
After working 50 years, I am phasing out of the workforce. I putter around our yard, tending our trees, caring for several bee hives, collecting honey and trying to make mead. I have joined a couple more groups and begun reading more, starting with the 100 novels to read before your time. Lucas and his wife Emily just gave us our second grandson so we are practicing our “how to spoil a grandchild” techniques. Sandra and I plan to continue"
Thank you, Bill, for everything you've done so far for Yesterday's Gone. We are so blessed to have you on our board. You're making such a huge impact in so many lives. 💛
Our second precious GEM has moved in, and we are so touched by what her children said about Yesterday's Gone. 🤎
We all take for granted having the freedom to feel safe, play outside when we want, and get a good night's sleep. Children deserve unconditional love, and at Yesterday's Gone, we ensure that ALL of our guests feel seen & heard. 🫶
