Chiefland Rotary Club is proud to support the brave firefighters battling the Cow Creek Fire affecting the Goethe State Forest . Today we were able to donate 600 bottles of water, 180 bottles of Gatorade, and snacks to help keep them fueled and hydrated on the front lines.
We are incredibly grateful for their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our community. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they continue their hard work. ❤️🔥

Yesterday, our club had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Denny George, General Manager of Central Florida Electric Cooperative. Mr. George spoke with us about the upcoming Annual Meeting of Members on Saturday, May 2, as well as the membership vote regarding the potential sale of Fiber by Central Florida to rural broadband provider, Conexon.
We are grateful for the opportunity to hear directly from the General Manager and gain insight about the benefits this potential sale can bring, and the positive impact it will have on the financial future of the Co-op.
Thank you, Mr. George, for taking the time to visit and share valuable information with our club!
If you’re a CFEC member, be sure to attend the Annual Meeting on Saturday, May 2 to learn more about your Co-op and receive a $25 bill credit on your account! 😊⚡️💡
