A private Icelandic Horse Farm in Virginia ~ two families, an arena, a track and four Icelandic Horses enjoy this beautiful place The farm is named after the village in Ireland where my maternal grandmother (Rich Sr) lived before she emigrated to the US.
Kilmurry is a settlement near the village of Cordal just outside the city of Castleisland, in County Kerry in the southwest of the country. Many of our cousins still live in the area. The green of the farm colors honors that connection. Rich Sr, Pat and Susan and other family members have all visited this special place in Ireland.
