Boys & Girls π teams to come!
π New teams means many challenges but these boys came together and started bringing the WINS so Coach let them decide the celebration cut at the end of the season! β’β’β’ Way to Trappers and way to go Coach for encouraging them and willing to celebrate with some fun!

Casper Trappers teams competed against other Wyoming and surrounding statesβs team. Though these teams did not bring home metals, they had other wins that we are proud of.
These teams are a combination of players from different experience in basketball and schools. Many of these players didnβt know each other till the first day of practice. The growth individually and as a team is worth all the unpaid time we spend together. We are excited to continue to develop and improve with these athletes.

3rd Grade Trappers placed 2nd this last weekend!
Congratulations to these competitive athletes and coaches on their hard work and dedication!
COACH: a person who supports and guides individuals or groups to achieve their goals; needs to be able to understand peopleβs strengths and weaknesses, and promote and maintain motivation in those that they work with; using a variety of skills to analyse individual and team performance, and provide training to improve sporting results and output.
The commitment and dedication of our coaches are vital for the development of our teams. Trappers basketball is more than just traveling teams; itβs about the individual and team growth, understanding the game, fundamentals, and learning the techniques to improve skills. Itβs not about winning games but the growth with our players and their teams. Winning games comes from work ethics and learned skills from disciplined players who are lead by knowledgeable and committed coaches.
Many of our players are new to competitive basketball but over the last few months of their dedication and determination, many have grown leaps and bounds with their abilities. We are beyond proud and confident that these young players and their teams will continue to grow and learn leading to winning games and success for them on the court and off the court in life.
The coaching behavior assessment system has been used to show that coaching knowledge and behavior have significant influence on participants psychological profile affecting self-esteem, motivation, satisfaction, attitudes, perceived competence, and performance.

π Trappers 4th Grade Team having some birthday treats with their teammates.
These boys may not have won their games Sunday but they showed up to practice on Monday ready to learn from it, listen to coaches on what they did well and where they need to improve, and work hard to develop the skills they need for their next game.
