Girls work at this marina! And we don’t just answer the phone, ring up customers and clean up around the shop.

Despite being girls, we are mechanically inclined and wrench on boats daily. So we please ask that if we do answer your calls, or ask how we can help you, that you please be kind and respectful.

Please don’t ask for a mechanic, and when we ask “how can we help?”, proceed to laugh at us like there is no way we have the mechanical knowledge that you are seeking.

Please don’t make rude comments like “your hands aren’t dirty enough to wrench” or “I see the ball and chain is here today.”

When we ask a question about your boat when taking a service order, don’t look away and give the answer to the male mechanic who may be standing in the room.

Be nice to us and pay us compliments, because we just might be the one working on your boat… and I’m sure you would like to go boating sometime this summer.

It’s terrible all of this even needs to be said. It’s 2023 and ! If you don’t like strong smart women wrenching on your boat please know we aren’t the shop for you.

Hello! We will be closed starting Satirday 7/2 and re-opening Tuesday 7/12 at 9am.

Please note we will be closing at 4pm today instead of 6pm due to the heat. The building is getting close to 100 degrees by the end of the day and it’s just not safe. We will be back open tomorrow from 9am-6pm!

Public Safety Announcement: if you store your boat under a tree, today is one of those days you should consider moving it as there is a potential for 75mph winds.

Most people don’t know that boat windshields are extremely expensive and typically you can’t just have a local glass place repair or replace it. Your curved glass windshield can cost upwards of $10,000 or more.

After 35 years in business we have gone through many ups and downs. The past 5-10 years we have seen a major decline in sales of parts and accessories with the addition of Amazon and online shopping.

With that being said, we have continued to grow year after year with our service division and by turning the store front into additional indoor storage.

After much consideration we have made the decision to make a change to our business hours.

In Dave’s over 3 decades of wrenching and service he has had very few weekends off and the time has come for him to take some time for himself and his family.

Effective this Saturday June 11, 2022 our hours will be changing to the following:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 9-4
Wednesday: 9-6
Thursday: 9-6
Friday: 9-4
Saturday: By Appointment Only
Sunday: Closed

We have added evening hours on Wednesday and Thursday to allow for evening drop off/pickup on service work. These hours will most likely change in the fall due to the high volume of drop offs for winterizing and we will keep you informed on those changes as they happen.

We truly appreciate each and every one of our customers! There are not enough words to express our gratitude for your years of support and patronage!

Crystal Lake closed for boating because of high water levels Crystal Lake has been closed for boating until further notice as of Tuesday afternoon because of high water levels.

At this time we are by appointment only. Boat repair and storage is being carried out as normal, there is just no person-to-person contact.

You will be able to drop off and pick-up in the parking lot, order parts over the phone for parking lot pick-up, and payment will be done over the phone.

📍Per the Governor’s order, we will be closed March 21 to April 7, 2020.

📍You will be able to drop-off and pick-up 🚤 in the parking lot, do a work order 📋 online, and we can take payments 💳over the phone. There will be no 🙅🏻‍♂️ person-to-person contact until this order is lifted.
