Emotional Growth Emotional growth is not a straight path. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and often slow. But it’s also one of the most rewarding journeys you can take. When a person walks into a room, people notice appearance first.
But people also remember how you made them feel long after you leave.
Taking care of your heart matters just as much as taking care of your appearance.
Appearance may open a door, but it’s the heart that determines whether people feel comfortable enough to stay.
Too many people are given access they were never meant to have.
To spaces they don’t belong, conversations they don’t need to be in. This will lead to opinions that do nothing to support your growth.
Vulnerability is not a public resource.
Let access be earned, not assumed.
Some people listen to understand, others listen to use.

~That’s the lesson~
No matter who you are or how much you love someone, people will do what they want in the end.
You can guide, warn, pray, and show up but you can’t choose for them. At some point, you have to let people be who they decide to be.
Focusing on what’s wrong keeps us from seeing what’s right.
Choosing gratitude is an attitude that will help you shift focus.
