In going through things from years ago, I came across the little hat I designed for Lily. Her hat was 9” around and this one was for when she was about a year old. I used it to advertise the pattern I had designed and sold quite a few from my store. Abbie Sailors, wanted me to design a hat for her so I did. It had to have pigtails, too. This blue one is Lily’s Pigtails hat. It’s wrinkled from being put up for 14 years! The beige one is also disheveled from being put away for about the same period of time. Abbie was specific about how she wanted her hat to look so I had to put bangs and a crocheted ribbon on it with the pigtails. Reminiscing is so much fun. So many good memories.
