Finally able to get repairs done and base/legs stripped on this MCM Dixie dresser today! Tomorrow…prime and paint! What color do you guys think would be best? I plan to stain the base and legs. The top and drawers were not able to be stripped and stained, so I am going to paint.

Now that vacation is over, and the RAIN 🌧️ has ceased, I’m hoping to get back in the garage to work tomorrow!! Have to finish these pretties 💚

This custom set goes home to its new owner on Saturday! Cherry Drexel set finished in Cathedral Taupe by Fusion and walnut stain. No staging photos. Just showing how pretty this set turned out 😊 Last photos are before refinishing 😊

When you have your furniture restored, you are dealing with a professional who has gained experience and knowledge through years of hard work just like your plumber, roofer, A/C repair person, landscaper, or house painter. You don’t mind paying those people for their expertise, right? Well, we are no different; what we do is built on years of learning, and is done in a safe and well equipped work environment. And that costs money. You thought it would cost less? Well, have you bought gas lately? Or anything else for that matter. Prices are creeping up, still. We can’t work at last year’s rates. Of course, you can always try to do it yourself, but you’d be shocked how much just a set of basic tools will cost you. Have a blessed day!
