Another school rock painting for Dean Rusk Middle School PTA for their upcoming Teacher and Staff Appreciation week. I’ll definitely stick to painting megaphones, but giving back to my community this year has been rewarding. 💛🖤

I was honored to paint the rock for Dean Rusk Middle School PTSA again this week in honor of Ellie’s Day. Ellie is lovingly remembered every year on her birthday in our community with her sweet reminder to “Have Fun, Always Love”. Many wear her favorite color, yellow, in her honor.

Sometimes love looks like serving your community in small ways, just because you care.
I just got home from painting the school rock at Dean Rusk Middle School for their PTSA, even though I don’t have kids of my own and this isn’t usually the kind of work I do.
But, I answered the call and volunteered because my sweet niece went to this school, and I’ve seen first hand how special the staff and community are. It’s a place that pours into kids every day, and it felt like a small way to give something back.
With everything going on in the world, I’m trying to be the kind of person that makes it a better, kinder place, to love like Jesus, to serve where I can, and to support the places that are shaping the next generation. Even if that means something as small as an evening painting a Bingo Night rock.
Thanks to Dean Rusk Middle School and the PTSA for letting me be a small part of it.
(I hope it looks ok in the daylight 🫣😂)

Two schools, two new megaphones on rush recently. All of my free time has been megaphones but I love how these are turning out! These are some of the personalizations. Due to the rush, I’m doing them in stages, and they’ll debut on the sideline this week, then will come back home with me to get final clear coats on. 😅

POV: New cheerleader transferred from another high school and needed a rush job on her personalized megaphone. I was only able to get her name on it before gameday, and no top coat because I’m not finished with it. Rain in the forecast meant Saran Wrap to keep it water resistant! 💡☺️
