Some pics I edited a tad of my pretty girl to look her best I adore this girl with my whole heart. The second pic is from a few months ago, and carpet pythons colors change over time that's why she's less saturated than she was when she was younger (:

A little PSA not to even a snake if you're not willing to get bit now and then. And also when to know when it's your fault vs when the animal is being a jerk. In this instance it was my fault. Explanation:

She just ate an hour ago, k went down to check on her and sure she actually ate it instead of just hiding it somewhere(she'll do this sometimes) and she did eat it but I noticed her thermometer was face side down so I figured I'd fix it before bed seeing as she's always been super chill and uncaring of when and how I do or don't bother her. Well I guess she's still in "I'm hungry mode" because as soon as that door opened she was latched to my hand. Yes it hurt. Yes it stings. No it's not that bad. Id take getting bit by her all over again over getting scratched by a car or getting blood drawn tbch.

Lors of people are scared to own snakes because they're fearful of getting bit. I was too when I first got into snakes but that first bite really does teach you "that's not so bad" however there are some exceptions to that rule (not including venomous snakes) that do have wildly painful bites. Judt don't own anything large that you canr handle appropriately and you'll be fine

She shed rather quickly after being in blue and looks better and brighter than ever! She’s putting on good size now! Not only that I touched up her enclosure and reorganized some and added some. Bioactive is a BLASTto do 😍 I have so much fun as it allows me to learn so much and absorb so much information on caring for multiple variants of life.

Today is also her first birthday! She was rewarded a nice juicy rat last night to celebrate as well as a much needed and slight reorganization and addition of extra plants to her bioactive the other day prior to feeding 🙂

This little boy came to Home Depot with me today for some fun socialization time and got some new plants for the bioactives! One red anthurium and one peace lily!! I’m very excited to see how they do in the enclosures! They’re not planted as of yet as I’m out of town but will be planting them next weekend as well as adding more substrate to the enclosures for a deeper substrate later as these plants are quite mature and large compared to my others and o wanna give plenty of room for growth (:

The girls are doing great, one just got out of blue and is ready to shed any day and my other just went into blue! It’s been a month since the second girls last shed so this is quick but I assume she’s about to go through a growth spurt which is very exciting!

Hey all! Making this page so I can start building myself up to educate and to show my animals and knowledge and talk about my plans such as breeding and what I intend to do with my business in the future. It’ll be a slow start but I can’t wait to see what happens! I currently have three snakes! But looking like I might get a 4th soon!
